Howdy Mate! For WhatsApp users, the lazy thing to do is delete messages, as well as chat on WhatsApp Group. So it’s not surprising that old messages are still legible. Now, there is a new feature on WhatsApp where WhatsApp Group old messages will be deleted automatically. Wow, without any further chitchat, let’s jump into it.
Famous chat application, WhatsApp is known to continue to develop new features. The latest news, the company owned by Facebook is preparing an expired message feature and automatically disappears. WhatsApp is said to be testing new features on WhatsApp beta, for Android version 2.19.275.
Actually this is not incidental news, because in October WhatsApp reportedly was preparing a Disappear Message. Now the feature has been refined and renamed to ‘Delete Message’.
This feature allows expired messages to disappear after a certain period of time, according to what the user has chosen for an hour, day, week, month or year option. Furthermore, the feature is intended to keep the group message conversation from taking up too much storage space on the user’s smartphone.
Please note, the “Delete message” feature for group chat can only be accessed by the WhatsApp group admin, so the settings will apply to all group chat participants. Unfortunately WhatsApp hasn’t confirmed when this feature to set expiration messages will begin to be available to all users in the world. That is the rumor of WhatsApp’s new feature that allows expired messages to be automatically deleted.
Wow, finally WhatsApp Group old messages will be deleted. Hopefully this feature will come out quickly so that my smartphone memory is a bit loose. Because I have to delete the chat history manually on WhatsApp group. And that is a bit of a waste of my time.
Anyways, what do you think, mates? Is that feature useful? Let me know in the comment section below, okay?
