“WhatsApp has not only failed to protect messages written on your WhatsApp, but it has also been frequently infiltrated by trojans to spy on photos and non-WhatsApp messages,” he continued, as quoted by the Times of India.

Previously, WhatsApp was also haunted by the terror of Pegasus malware made by Israeli company. This malware can spy all activities that occur on the victim’s smartphone, including reading messages, tapping phone calls and video calls, and much more.

Malware found by a user in India is spread via MP4 video files. If the victim opens the file, then the hacker can access the message on the victim’s smartphone. Facebook said it would fix the problem this week. But the company warns that this danger still attack users with older versions of WhatsApp.

Furthermore, Telegram has 200 million active monthly users. While WhatsApp has 1.6 billion active monthly users, as quoted by Forbes. The fact is, Telegram’s users are still less than WhatsApp. That’s why cracker or hacker is going to attack WhatsApp instead of Telegram. Agree or not, mates?
