Get playlists and recommendations served to you based on your context, tastes, and what’s trending around you. Afterward, this application is going to automatically installed on your Android 10 smartphone, mates!

YouTube Music has pretty strong competitors like Spotify and Joox. In order to win the competition, Google has to forcibly install it on Android 9 or 10 smartphones replacing the old-timer Google Play Music app on Android. Well, that is Google marketing strategy and I admire that one!

Brandon Bilinski, YouTube Music Product Manager said, “Google Play Music users on Android 10 devices still can use the Google Play Music by installing it on Play Store.”

Besides there are many critics that Google is kinda slow to develop YouTube Music app. That was proven in the review on Google Play, which only got 3.9 of score. Many users have disappointed by the app. What makes it even worse, it is not available yet in several countries such as Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and much more. It is only available in Europe and the USA.

I know that YouTube Music app was developed in 2015, but I think that’s not an excuse to get an unsatisfying score. If the strategy above is happened, then Google has to make sure that the app is feasible to use. Because surely many users of Google Play Music app moved to it. If it is still not stable, then this will be a boomerang for Google, The score will be worse than before.
