Get ready, Apple fanboy. As rumored, Apple also introduced their newest tablet product, the 7th generation iPad at the introduction event for the lines of iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max on Tuesday (09/10/2019) at the Steve Jobs Theater, Cupertino, USA.
This latest iPad, besides being the 6th generation successor released in 2018, also comes with a wider screen display size, which is 10.2 inches, where the previous generation only measures 9.7 inches! The screen is also equipped with a retina display. iPad 7th gen will present with variants color of Silver, Gold and Space Grey.
“The screen is a very important component. That’s why we also make it bigger,” said Apple’s Vice President Greg Jozwiak as quoted by Kompas via a live broadcast of the event which can also be accessed on Youtube. Though, the bezels and home button still remain.
But related to the chipset, iPad 7 generation is still equipped with the same capabilities as the previous generation of Apple A10 Fusion chips. The OS that will be pinned is certainly Apple’s latest OS which has been awaited since WWDC 2019, iPadOS!
For cameras, the 7th generation iPad will be equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, also with Apple Pencil stylus support as in the first generation. iPad now also features a Smart Connector to easily connect additional Smart Keyboard accessories if needed.
How about the price? Reported by Kompas, Apple opened the price of $ 329. In the US, bookings for the 7th generation iPad have started since September 10, and delivery is scheduled to take place on 30 September.
