Recently planned to change the name WhatsApp as a sign of its dominance of that popular social media, Facebook is again rumored to be adding a new feature to WhatsApp, as reported by WABetaInfo.

Interestingly, that new feature seems like a short video that is played repeatedly (loop). Feel like you’ve heard this somewhere? Yes, it is similar to the Boomerang feature that is already on Instagram social media. WABetaInfo said that the feature is predicted to be available in a Video Type on WhatsApp that can be covered from a video to a GIF of fewer than 7 seconds. This feature can appear also in WhatsApp status updates.

It turns out that the feature is in progress by the WhatsApp team in the last few weeks. It seems they currently enter the final stage of the development to ensure this feature has been completely free of bugs before being released to all users.

Reported by CNBC, WhatsApp-style Boomerang Feature will be released first for iOS devices, then later to Android devices. Exciting, right?

For information, recently WhatsApp has also developed features that can make WhatsApp work on multiple devices at the same time … without connecting with mobile WhatsApp! It seems that WhatsApp will be predicted to be a multi-platform service. As you know, currently WhatsApp can only connect to a single number from a mobile phone at this time so the usage on other platforms is limited.
