At the Galaxy Unpacked event held at Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York on Wednesday (7/8) or Thursday (8/8) in GMT 7+, Samsung introduced its newest flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series. The long-awaited presence by the public after all the leaks that have appeared periodically since several months ago finally there. 

This South Korean company is introducing two of the latest Galaxy Note series, Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus. In accordance with the leaked info that had spread before, a big difference is seen on the smartphone screen sizes which are 6.8 inches and 6.3 inches. They also both present with Aurora Glow, Aurora Black, Blue, and Aurora White colors. Reported by Kompas, this launch is the first time for Samsung to introduce two versions of the Galaxy Note at once.

There also some leaked information about the high specifications of these smartphone that turned out to be true, include variations in their RAM capacity and internal storage, which consists of 8 GB and 12 GB RAM, then 256 GB and 512 GB storage.


But some information that was not covered by the public finally was also announced at this release, of course. Especially the details about the camera of the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus, which is clearly expected to bring more significant updates from their predecessors.

In addition to the S-Pen stylus whose information has been leaked some time ago, the rear camera module of the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus became Samsung’s dominant sector when introducing its newest smartphones.

All the rear cameras of the two phones are arranged vertically. In terms of camera design, it’s clearly different from the previous Note 9 and S10. The Galaxy Note 10 is given three regular cameras consisting of an ultra-wide 16 MP (f / 2.2) 123 degree camera, 77 degree wide-angle camera with dual aperture (lens opening) resolution of 12 MP 2PDAF (f / 1.5), (f / 2.4) OIS, and telephoto 12 MP (f / 2.1), OIS, with a 45-degree field of view. Instead of the name “Regular”, the camera specifications are sophisticated! Then what about the “Plus” variant? The Galaxy Note 10 Plus also has four rear camera sensors in total! Three of them are the same as those embedded in the Regular version, while the fourth camera is located next to the three vertical camera modules and embedded with VGA resolution as a depth vision sensor.

That’s just the rear camera sector. What about the front camera? Reported by Kompas, both are equipped with a 10 MP resolution selfie camera with an 80-degree field of view. The front camera design carries the Infinity-O design with the camera accommodated in a hole in the middle of the screen that is almost fully covered the front body.

Not only the power of the lens, the cameras also will be equipped with Live Focus Video mode, Zoom in Microphone, Super Steady, and Video Editor to help your documentary experience become more complete, perfect and mobile-friendly. Other information that has not been leaked to the public is about USB type C on the Galaxy Note 10 series which is hybrid type. As previously rumored, the Galaxy Note 10 series will not have a headphone jack, so this hybrid USB can be used to charge as well as a connector or headphone jack!
